Language and teaching training programs
The Language Centre at Saint Mary's University
The Language Centre offers a variety of programs: English for Academic Purposes (EAP), University Bridging Program (UBP), and English for Personal and Professional Communication (EPPC).
It also offers the IELTS test and a suite of internationally-recognised Cambridge teacher training courses including the Cambridge CELTA(Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Language for Teaching, and the Certificate in EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction).

East Coast Language College
ECLC is an English as a Second Language school for adults and an official IELTS centre. It offers six main programs of study: English for Communication, University College Pathway (with bridging level), IELTS Preparation, Masters Preparation, Business English for the Workplace, and Teaching English to Young Learners.
