Saint Mary's University
Courses in language, culture and literature in French are offered by the Department of Modern Languages and Classics. The following programs are available: honours, a major, a minor, a concentration, study abroad, and a certificate of proficiency.

Alliance Française Halifax
 
Language School and a French Cultural Centre. French courses at all levels and interests for adults, toddlers, kids and teens are scheduled at various convenient times.  It's also an Examination Centre for various French proficiency exams.

Canadian Parents for French-Halifax Peninsula and Mainland South Chapter
 
A research-informed, volunteer organization that furthers bilingualism by promoting and creating opportunities for youth to learn and use French. 
Each year, CPF Halifax Peninsula and Mainland South delivers French programs for children such as Camp Chocolat (French daycamp), Razzmatazz concerts in the schools, cultural activities, supports the Concours d'art oratoire and presents Awards of Excellence in the local high schools.

Université Sainte-Anne
 
The only French language post-secondary institution in Nova Scotia, offers university and college-level courses as well as a French immersion program and customized training in French as a second language.

CONSEIL COMMUNAUTAIRE DU GRAND-HAVRE

 

The CCGH works towards the overall development of the Francophones and the Francophile community of the Halifax Regional Municipality since 1991. In addition of acting as a representative of the francophone community of the Halifax Regional Municipality, to build partnerships and share information, the CCGH develops year after year, programs and services for the Francophone and Francophile community.

The Department of French at Dalhousie University offers a wide range of classes in French language, literature,  culture, and linguistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The French Language Studies program offers a full range of courses in French language  as well as courses in literature and culture (France,  Québec, Acadie, African and Caribbean)
